Setup Outlook 2003 or 2007

Automatically Setup up your RocketFast account in Outlook
(using the Kerio Outlook Connector – Offline Edition)

(Automatic setup creates a NEW Outlook Profile. If you need to add your RocketFast Account to your existing profile so that you can continue using your existing accounts, read the Manual Setup below)

Kerio Outlook Connector can be installed at the following operating systems:

• Windows XP – SP3

• Windows Vista with the latest Service Pack installed

Installation of the Kerio Outlook Connector can be run with the following versions of MS Outlook:

• Outlook XP with the most recent update of Service Pack.

• Outlook 2003 with the most recent update of Service Pack.

• Outlook 2007 with the most recent update of Service Pack.

Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition) requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.

Step One – Install the Kerio Outlook Connector – Offline Edition

1. In your browser, go to https://mail.rocketfast.net

2. On the Login Page, click the Integration with Windows link displayed at the bottom of the login dialog.

3. This opens the Integration with Windows page. Simply click on Download Kerio Outlook Connector.

4. Follow allong with the Installation Wizard to get Kerio Outlook Connector fully installed. Once finished, get back to the Integration with Windows Page to finish the Automatic Setup or skip down to the Manual Account Setup.

Step Two – Configure your Outlook Account

1. Back at the Integration with Windows web page, click on the link titled Click here to auto-configure Kerio Outlook Connector.

2. Depending on your browser and its settings, the tool gets downloaded and launched automatically

or it only gets downloaded and you can run it by double-clicking on the tool’s icon.

3. The script now runs MS Outlook, creates a new profile and preconfigures your Rocketfast Kerio account.

For security reasons, enter only your user mailbox password.

4. Click on Retrieve Info to check whether the password is correct and whether the login data

can be used for connection to the server.

Switching between your Default Outlook profile and your new Kerio profile

1. Using your Start menu, go to Settings -> Control Panel -> Mail

2. Using the Mail control panel, set Outlook to ask you upon each launch which profile you would like to open.  This will allow you to go between your old Default profile with all of your old email, and your new Kerio profile which contains your new Rocketfast account.

Step One - Follow Step One from above to install the Kerio Outlook Connector Offline Edition.

Step Two - Manual Add your RocketFast Account

1. With Outlook open, use the Tools menu and select Account Settings.  Click the NEW button to create new account.

2. In the Add New Email Account window, select Other and click on Kerio MailServer (KOC Offline Edition).  Then Click Next to continue.

3. On the Accounts Tab, enter the server name of mail.rocketfast.net, and enter your email address and password.

4. Click the Retrieve Info button to test your account settings. If the test is successful then your account info will automatically fill in to the User Information section at the bottom of the Accounts Tab.  Click OK to finish.

How to view your RocketFast account email folders

Your RocketFast account should now be setup in your Default pre-existing Outlook Profile. To view that your account is setup, look in the folder list for your new account. It will be named Mailbox – Your Name.

This is your root account folder, and all of your primary email mailboxes, and additional mailboxes that you create in your RocketFast account will be housed within this root account folder.

iPhone & iPad setup for RocketFast

RocketFast Account – iPhone & iPad ActiveSync Setup

With support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, you can wirelessly push company email, calendar events, and contacts from our RocketFast Server to your iOS device.

The RocketFast server makes it extremely easy to setup your account. If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS version 5 or later, do the following:

  1. Open Safari on your device, and go to https://mail.rocketfast.net/
  2. Once the page has loaded, tap at the bottom on the link for “Set up my phone”
  3. Tap the top link “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.
  4. On the next page tap “Continue”. This will begin the process of installing a Configuration Profile that will enable your account.
  5. Once you have finished this, your account will be setup and active on your iOS device.

On older iOS devices running iOS version 3 or 4, you can follow the steps below to get things going.
